Bookings
A booking counts as made only once we have confirmed it in writing and 30% of the total has been paid. The balance is paid on arrival.
Cancellation
More than 14 days before arrival: the deposit is returned in full. Between 14 and 7 days: half is returned. Under 7 days: the deposit is retained. If something serious happens, talk to us, we are people.
Arrival and departure
Check-in between 3pm and 8pm; if you will be later, tell us and we will sort it. Check-out by 11am.
Minimum stay
Rooms: two nights for most of the year, three in high season. Exclusive use of the estate: three nights, seven in August.
Pets
Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. We ask that they stay on the lead near the chickens and the donkey paddock, and off the beds.
The workshop
The workshop is offered as a courtesy and is not a licensed garage. Anyone using it does so at their own risk. Children only with an adult; closed shoes required. The key is asked for and returned.
Pool and pond
The pool is unsupervised. Children must always be accompanied. The pond is not for swimming.
Fire
Fires only in the agreed places, and never between 1 June and 30 September, as the law requires.
Damage
Please tell us if you break something. We do not charge for ordinary accidents.
